Procedure:
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in cold water.
Chill until consistency of an unbeaten egg white.
Fold in berries and nuts.
Pour into a 9-inch square dish; chill until set.
Prepare whipped topping mix according to package direction; add cream cheese and sugar, blending until smooth.
Spread over gelatin layer.
Chill several hours.
Yield: 9 servings.
