Ingredients: Crumb Topping:
> ½ cup all-purpose flour
> 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
> 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
> 1/3 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
> ¼ cup butter or margarine
Blueberry Bars:
> ½ cup butter or margarine, softened
> 2 eggs
> 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
> ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
> ¾ cup sugar
> ½ teaspoon vanilla
> 1 teaspoon baking powder
> 2 cups fresh blueberries
In a small bowl stir together flour, brown sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon; cut in butter until well combined. In medium bowl cream butter and sugar until light. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking powder and cinnamon; stir into creamed mixture. Spread batter evenly into a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan; top with blueberries. Sprinkle with Crumb Topping. Bake in a 350 °F. oven 45 minutes or until golden. Cool on wire rack. Cut into bars. Makes 12 servings.
